Leanne and Jordan enjoyed a wonderful wedding at Judges, Kirklevington over the Easter weekend.
On a day of mixed weather, the mid-afternoon rain didn't even come close to dampening the spirits of a couple who were very much blissfully wrapped up in the whole wedding experience, soaking up every last moment of a brilliant day.
Following a sincere and heartfelt ceremony, we managed to find time to shoot outdoor portraits around the grounds of Judges before the rain finally set in. Everyone settled down to an emotional set of speeches, particularly from Jordan who just about managed to hold it together! With a teary eyed audience attentively willing him on, Jordan battled through and received a rapturous round of applause for his efforts.
One of the biggest and boldest features of the day was the gorgeous Ford Mustang that Jordan arrived in. Bright red in colour and with a ridiculously loud 5 litre engine, you could never accuse this car of being too subtle! However, regardless of the engine noise, Jordan's choice of car was always going to be eclipsed by his stunning bride, who revelled in being the star attraction throughout the day.
Before the evening reception began we spent time creating a handful of additional portraits, using strobe lighting in and around the hotel. It's always great for a photographer to have this opportunity to get creative and I really enjoyed this part of the day. We also had a play with long exposure techniques which can be seen in the 'Mr and Mrs" shot below.
It was great to work with Jordan and Leanne and it was great to be back at Judges.
Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Scott, they're a wonderful couple who deserve every success together for a bright future ahead. xx
