Perfect for those who can't commit to longer photography courses and woud like to learn quickly. Crash course is a one day photography course in Yarm, Teesside that will help you to get off auto mode.

Learn all about aperture, shutter speed, ISO, depth of field and so much more during a friendly one day workshop in and around the beautiful town of Yarm, Teesside.
Master your camera and create your own fabulous photographs with new skills that will last a lifetime on this highly popular beginners photography course.
What You Will Learn
Camera functions – What do all of these buttons do?
Aperture – Controlling depth of field, blurring backgrounds
Shutter Speeds – Creating movement in your photographs
ISO – Shooting in low light
Exposure – How to manually create the perfect exposure
Focus – Keeping everything sharp
Composition – Techniques to create more interesting images
This beginners photography course is suitable for those with no previous knowledge. You will not require a tripod or any editing software to participate in this photography course. Bridge camera users are also welcome, please be advised that bridge cameras may not have all of the functionality of a DSLR/MIRRORLESS camera. PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE DETAILS
Photography course commences at 10am in Yarm and lasts 5 hours, ending at 3pm.
We will break for lunch mid way through the day (not included, there are many shops and cafes on our doorstep to grab a quick bite to eat). Tea/Coffee is included.
Suitable outdoor clothing is recommended, although the walking will not be difficult.
Course notes are sent to mobile devices at the beginning of the session, so you will have a full set of notes to work with and to review in your own time once the course is complete.
Crash Course is a scaled down version of our popular 4 week Photography For Beginners course. We've taken out the essential elements and condensed them into a fast paced one day workshop, suitable for those who would like to learn in a hurry. If you are worried about the pace, we recommend the 4 week photography course.
Courses will generally go ahead in light rain, but can be rescheduled if the weather is not suitable.
Full details are emailed out to attendees three days before the course is due to take place.

I have just returned from a trip to the Arctic Circle arranged by Michael. The best I can say is that this was a trip of a life time! The tour was friendly with lots of laughs. Both myself and my husband have been friends of Michael's for many years now during which time we have been on numerous photography trips with him!
We have thoroughly enjoyed every single trip from the Lake District, Paris, Budapest but my absolute favourite was the trip to Finland, we may not have been lucky enough to see the Northern Lights but what a fantastic adventure it turned out to be!! I attended my first camera course as a complete beginner, I didn’t even know how to turn the camera on! The initial course was perfect for me, very well explained throughout and left me wanting to know more. Michael and the team are brilliant teachers, they are all very patient and we have a lot of laughs along the way.
