Helen and Andrew married at St Oswald's church, Newton Under Roseberry on a warm day June (they've all been warm days this Summer haven't they)!
Family and friends gathered from all over the UK to celebrate with a reception at Whinstone View on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
Whinstone View and St Oswald's are two of my absolute favourite venues and I knew that this wedding day would be a wonderful occasion. This feeling was only emphasised when I met Helen and Andrew, who are a brilliant couple. It was plain to see that they would enjoy a fantastic wedding day together.
Helen prepared for her wedding day in one of the luxury lodges at Whinstone View, so we popped along to catch some bridal prep shots before the main event! The ceremony was expertly taken care of by Great Ayton's Paul Peverell (AKA Rev Pev), who always gives the congregation an amusing, inspiring and heartfelt ceremony that they will remember for many years (he's the best in the business in my opinion). St Oswald's is a stunningly beautiful church too, set to a backdrop of Roseberry Topping and packed full of historical charm from bygone years.
After the ceremony we took the shots journey to the foot of North Yorkshire's famous "mountain" for a handful of shots with the beautiful carriage that Helen had arrived in. Later in the day, we had an opportunity to shoot additional portraits of Helen and Andrew, using picturesque locations in the immediate area of Whinstone View.
As ever, this was a brilliant day to be a part of. It's always great working with Andrea and the staff at Whinstone View, the day ran seamlessly from beginning to end.
I'd like to take this opportunity to wish Helen and Andrew the very best wishes for their future life together, they were a pleasure to work with and i'm so grateful to of had the opportunity to capture their wedding memories.
Congratulations guys! xx
